As the World Turns

Last weekend my good friend and I took a trip to our county fair. There we had a lot of fun sampling the different foods offered. I tried a deep friend Oreo for the first time. It was quite delicious, but artery-clogging I’m sure. I also had a snow cone and some cotton candy. The rides were probably the best part of the fair. It’s unfortunate that the tickets are so expensive. I spent almost 20 dollars and went on four rides. Oh well, it was worth it. The Ferris wheel was pretty large for one at a local fair. We also went on the Star Slide, Tilt-o-whirl, and another ride that flipped us upside down. I believe it was called the twister. The animals at the fair were a fun addition as well. We saw a lot of guinea pigs, which we always like since I have a few as pets. The cows weren’t anything special, but we did catch the tail end of the pig auction.
