As a kid my mother and father always asked my sister, Eva and I what out best and worst parts of our day were. We would share the worst first, which was always hard to come up with, and then our best parts, which usually consisted of doing well on a test or quiz, making a new friend, or having an upcoming school field trip. Then we would ask them their best and worst part. the only thing I really can remember about what they said was that the best part of their day was being able to sit down as a family and be with us. I will carry on this tradition to my family when I have one. it is a bonding experience that everyone can look forward to at dinnertime.
A Dream Honeymoon
Posted in Uncategorized on 08/12/2011 04:49 am by adminIf I had unlimited money and time I would travel the world on my honeymoon. My new husband and I would cruise the Caribbean, relaxing and and enjoying having nothing to do. We would also backpack through Europe, experiencing the cultures of Spain, Italy, France, Croatia, Ireland, England, Scottland, and other countries we stumble into. I would also love to visit Africa, and do some service there to young kids and their families. In Asia we would visit the Great Wall in China, the Taj Mahal in India, and maybe visit Japan. We would stop in New Zeland and Fiji to relax for a while. In Australia we would hike and visit the opera house in Sydney. On our way home I’d like to stop in Hawaii and perhaps Alaska.

My Greatest Achievement
Posted in Uncategorized on 08/09/2011 03:45 am by adminI am most proud of who I have created myself to be. Throughout my childhood I have disciplined myself to work hard at school, even if it meant giving up other things. I was determined to get all A’s, and even though there were a few A-‘s and a B+, I am proud of how hard I tried and that I gave it my 100% effort. Not only am I devoted to schoolwork, I make time to serve others. I volunteer at local nursing homes playing bingo and painting nails for the residents. I also have formed a great group of friends that I love to spend time with. Surrounding yourself with good people has a positive influence on your own self.
A life underwater
Posted in Uncategorized on 08/04/2011 02:42 am by adminIf I had to live underwater for two years I would be a sea turtle. Sea turtles are protected by their shells and can swim without the constant threat of being attacked by the many creatures that lurk the ocean waters, like sharks. Sea turtles can travel in currents like in the movie, “Finding Nemo.” I think being a sea turtle would be enjoyable and carefree. Baby sea turtles are so cute! If I were a mom sea turtle I would lay my eggs on the beach and all the tiny little babies would hatch and join me in the ocean.
