Ever since man discovered that dogs could provide service, protection and companionship, we have bonded with them and included them as a family member. Our goal should be to provide as much comfort to our canine friends as we can. Dogs, like humans grow older and develop just as many problems as humans. One of these infirmities happens to be arthritis. When your canine friend can no longer be comfortable resting on its old favorite rug, it may well be time to investigate orthopedic dog beds. After all, if you had trouble sleeping on just any old mattress instead of one designed specifically suitable for someone suffering from arthritis; doesn’t your canine friend deserve the same? They come in various sizes from small to large and will make your dog’s life much easier.

My dog is a great dog and loves to play with my children. She will wake up in the morning, run up the stairs and jump onto their beds. I have three children so she runs in between all the different bedrooms jumping on their beds and yelping out loud. They get up in the morning and go to her bowl and fill it with dog food. Then they fill her water dish. She enjoys spending the time with the children. The next thing they do is shake out her orthopedic beds for dogs, which is a very new purchase for our household.

He always knows my mood, when I’m upset, when I’m happy and he is always there for me. One of our favorite times of the day is taking Noodle for a walk. He is a 2 year old Spoodle and I don’t think I’ve ever come across anyone with so much energy and enthusiasm. He always knows it’s that special time of day when I get his dog collar and leash from on the top of the fridge. As soon as I reach for it, he looks, and then he drops his chin to the floor, bum in the air, next the barking starts and if a dog could do back flips this is what follows. You can tell the difference in dog’s barks, and he has the happiest bark you could ever hear. His voice ‘breaks’ sometimes, it’s so cute. You have to love him, no complications just pure devotion.

Dogs and humans are considered as friends from along period. The dogs provide us security, loyalty, friendship so we in turn are responsible for giving them good care, shelter, safety to them as reward for what they are doing for us. I am writing down some points that should be taken care of. Bathing your dog is necessary; it helps in keeping out skin infections. At least it should be given bath once in a bath, if it gets too dirty rub of with a towel. Care must be taken that separate dog clothing must be used as for our health. Then an ID can be attached to its collar with our name and address in case if the dog gets lost somebody who finds it can return it. Then the physical check up of the dog should be done regularly by going to a veterinarian .Another important thing is diet, proper balanced diet. If you want your dog to be healthy you must at least follow these points.

Choosing a dog can be hard work, but it’s very important to pick a dog that best suits your needs. Most people in today’s world would love to own a dog, but they are most definitely a big task to take on. Below are some things to consider when you’re looking to choose the right breed of dog for you:
1. Size – Size is very important when picking a dog. If you have a small home, you may want a smaller dog. If you have a home that has a lot of land, a larger active dog may suit best. If you have children, you will want to take this into consideration.
2. Purpose – You’ll also need to decide what the purpose of the dog will be. Will it be a working dog, or just a family dog for everyone to enjoy? Will your pup like the dog Christmas stocking you get him? This will greatly sway your answer.
3. Training – Last but not least, training. Some dogs train easier than others, so you will need to look at the amount of time you have to put forth to training your dog.

My dog, Booger, was the best dog ever for so many reasons. She was a handsome short-haired dog, a coffee-with-cream color, with darker brown around her soulful eyes. She was probably a mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback, Boxer, and Heinz57, weighed 61 pounds. She was well-proportioned, muscular and strong without being boxy or overly active. As a companion, she was delightful. Her friendly and affectionate nature endeared her to nearly everyone she met. She would come close to the people she liked and lean against their leg, then turn her face up, as if to say, “Wouldn’t you love to pet me now?” She was easily trained to heel without a leash, and went with me everywhere. When it’s cold she likes to wear dog jackets and coats. She was fierce around other dogs, and whenever she was briefly left in the car. In the fenced yard at home, she would routinely bark when strangers came to the porch, a good watchdog who never barked for no reason, nor excessively. Booger died a little over two years ago, after a long struggle with a cancer in her mouth and jaw. She will never be forgotten.

Across the entire length and breadth of the animal world, dog is the only animal which could sense the feel of others. Dogs could be best ever made partners for human. It has the capacity of safe guarding the home by its cleverness. In the range of puppies, it is very much attracted by kids. There are several breeds among the dogs. The exotic and indigenous breeds are available. I am also dog lover. I rear an exotic breed of Pomeranian, who loves dog sweaters. My 8 years old daughter treats it as her dearest friend. She use to wash the dog daily and use the anti lice creams to evade the small insects from the fur of dog. She used to play with it for hours together. She uses the dog jackets to safeguard from external temperature vagaries. It shows its gratitude by waving its tail.

My wife had wanted to get a Maltese her entire life. So 2 years ago I got her one for her birthday. I have always been reluctant to have small dogs, because of their “yippee” reputation. I was proven right. Baxter Alexander Maximus was an eight week old puppy when we got him, and he fit in the palm of my hand. The minute we got him home and he saw our cats the yipping began. He is now a little over two years old, and he still barks constantly. He barks while he is going potty, while he is cleaning himself, even when he is sleeping he’ll bark. It drives me nuts. He likes to wear dog cologne too. However in the past six months he has finally gotten the idea of going potty outside instead of in the house. He has been listening, in general, much better, and he has taken to curling up in my lap and going to sleep whenever my wife isn’t around. He also seems to have trouble deciding which of us to sleep next to at night, so he wedges in between us. All in all my heart has gone out to the cute, annoying, little yipper.

I suppose it is only natural that we want to dress up our pets. I know as a child I had great fun tying up ribbons or putting a scarf on our little pooch. But clothes for dogs seem to have become an industry these days. Recently, I saw an advertisement for dog pajamas! What next, I wonder? All I can say is poor doggie. Of course, it makes sense when the pet dog has a warm sweater to wear on really cold days. It is also cute when the clown in a circus brings along his dog with a frill around his neck and a funny hat on his head. That goes with the show. It is just nice to do something to keep the dog warm when it is freezing outside. It is so funny to see our doggie dragging his blanket which is tied around his neck and draped over his back. Does he find the blanket comforting or an irritation he has to put up with? How can we tell? It is all right to dress up a dog as long as it does not make it look ridiculous or miserable.

It can be difficult to keep your small dog safe outside, but poor little Fido can get into trouble indoors too. A solution us to restrict your small dogs to certain areas of the house using one of a variety of dog gates available. These gates keep your pet safely away from toxic items like cleaners, new furniture, and even dangerous electronic items that could give them a shock. For those with young children, gates can also keep pets away from babies to prevent accidents. And baby gates can double as those for dogs! So keep your human little ones in on one side and your four-legged little ones out on the other with a simple, moveable, adjustable hate that makes it a happier home for everyone.
