I had two dogs for about 8 years before I added a third dog to our home and how our world changed. I thought I knew about training dogs, playing with them and their place in our home. I have learned that three dogs constitute a pack and everything changes. Without being aware of the missed signals I was sending by playing with the new puppy I created a nightmarish existence for my two original dogs, who stated to fight each other for my attention. It got to the point that my walking through the door would spark them off. I have put the aggressive dog on a doggie Prozac and things have been so much better but I would not advise anyone to take on three dogs.

The Skin Allergy

When we adapted our little dog we soon began to notice he had little red spots on his skin and that he was itching them. This was not a good sign for us because we had to put down last dog who was a German Sheppard down since he had incurable allergies. We tried everything the vet told us to do including using dog supplements, putting oil on top of his food and not bathing him very often so his skin wouldn’t dry out. He used to get the spots so bad he had to wear a big ole white safety plastic collar around his neck to keep him from digging at himself. He would open the skin up and cause infections and then had to be put on antibiotics. Finally, one day the vet mentioned we ought to send him to a college far away and let them try experimental treatments on him. That was all too expensive for us. With our current dog we did a little investigation and found a dog food that took his skin allergies away.

Adopting Our Dog

When the kids were little they made us as parents feel like we hadn’t quite done our job as parents because they didn’t have a dog. They would say things like, how can we grow up without a dog, it’s not right, it’s not American and so on. With three kids saying that with the oldest leading the way, we finally gave in. Never the less, we began our hunt for the perfect dog. We stopped by many pounds and pet stores looking for the perfect little dog. It had to be small for our townhouse, light haired, not a barker and good with kids. One Saturday we hit the jackpot! A lady decided a dog and a baby were too much to care for at once so she turned him in to be adapted. We scooped him up as soon as we saw him! He was our perfect little dog and it was time to take him home. We bought him a crate, a dog seat belt and food. We got him safely home and we’ve had him for 12 years now.

Once there was a pet show held near to my village. I brought my Jonny (Labrador) to this show. Stylish dog clothes are use for fashion. So I wore him a red color velvet jacket. My dog was looking beautiful with that jacket. His performance in the stage was perfect though he lost his first place with the one named Tyson. But many children liked to play with my dog. He also played with them happily. He got a mate in that pet show. She was 2 years old Labrador named Julie and mine was 1 and half years old. After a three month I knowledge that he was ready for stud then arranged a mate with Julie. In this litter, five cute puppies were born and they reach the true lovable homes as like mine. Dogs are always especial creature of God. Then only God made man to name it as dog which is reverse form of God. Usually as we expects, our beloved dogs will also expect all possible homely conveniences and comforts for them. Among one of them are dog beds. Perhaps, if you are not providing a separate bed for your dog, then it will certainly sleep on your own bed only. There is no doubt in it. Dogs always will take rightful privileges from us even with more selfishness. But such kind their selfishness will be enjoyable to us always. Hence, in advance, it is better to provide always all facilities to them equally as we are enjoying in our home. From my own experience with dogs, we should be very cautious when we play with puppies and it is always dangerous habit. But we can play well without any kind of hesitation or fear with a full sized dog.

Start by offering the toothbrush to him to taste, making it seem like an optional decision. When he starts to lick put the brush into his or her mouth and brush the front teeth for a short amount of time. No longer than 20 seconds. As the days go on, the dog will find it more comfortable to have its teeth brushed. You can keep the dog still by holding it by the dog collars and leashes and pet him as you do this to make him feel safer.

I love to dress up my dog in dog clothes. He has a little green t-shirt that says “Save the Earth” which I dress him up in every time we go for a walk. Everyone always tells me how adorable he is in it and they like that we are so concerned about going green. I even have a pink hoody that I put on him from time to time, but I don’t think he likes that. I can’t resist though – he is just too cute in it! My dog wears a size small (he is a Chihuahua) and he actually loves to wear the xs small dog clothes. They don’t bother him at all. Depending on a dog’s personality, they may or may not like to wear dog clothes.
