This very movie, “Braveheart”, paid tribute to William Wallace, who has been celebrated as the first Scottish hero by many people. Fighting for the right to liberty is the central theme of the movie. “Braveheart” tells the story of the greatest Scottish hero. It tells the story of the leading figure in one of the key events in Scottish history, the story of a man who tried to free his country and, though only a simple gentleman, succeeded in doing this for a time.
