As the World Turns

My husband and I have been married for a little over 15 yrs and have been together for 17. During our marriage we have had 3 children together and my husband has 1 son from his previous marriage. So we have 4 children total. Our oldest son is 18. He is having a rough life so far. He was diagnosed with ADD when he was a young child and has always had problems with discipline so he has of course had problems with staying in school. He made it to high school and with only 5 months left to graduate, got expelled for threatening a teacher. Ultimately, he chose not to live with us and went back to California. He is currently in a half-way house working on getting his GED and trying to get a job. Our second oldest, is our 13 year old daughter. She is the creative one and the one we like to call the “drama queen”. She can really be an artist some day because she can draw almost anything free-hand. Her favorite is to draw anime characters. She is an awesome artist. She also likes to act. She’s taken drama in school and is taking Advanced Drama this next school year. Next up is my 9 year old son. The only thing he likes to do is play games on the Xbox 360 and that’s pretty much it. He hates doing homework and fights me every step of the way to get it done. He tells me he will do much better when he gets into 5th grade this year. We will see. And last, our youngest daughter who is 7 yrs old. She is a sweetheart. She is a very caring little girl and is always thoughtful of other people. She concerned for other people and always wants to know if they are ok. However, sometimes she can be EXTREMELY emotional over little things and cries over silly things. We are working with her on that. But she is so adorable. My kids have their little flaws but I love them unconditionally and wouldn’t want them any other way.
