As the World Turns

Yesterday after work I was on my own–my girlfriend was having a small dinner party with two friends, and I chose not to attend. So, straight from work, I went to the gym, which I don’t do nearly enough. I finished the book I was reading while on the exercise bike, and worked out a little on the weight machines. After that I relaxed for quite a while in the sauna. From there I went home and took a quick shower before heading out again. I had read about a free comedy show at a nearby lounge, so I took the bus there and ordered one drink and sat in the small comedy show. There were more comedians than audience members, and most were trying out new material, so it wasn’t as funny as I would’ve liked, though one in particular was quite good. I stayed for about 6 comedians before leaving and walking home. My girlfriend then came over; bringing leftover Chinese food (I was starving). I had my late dinner, took a quick shower, and then went to sleep. All in all, it was a nice evening!
