Christmas Sofa Adverts

State Opening 2010: The Queen’s Speech

Just hearing “All I Want for Christmas is You” playing alongside a sofa advert was enough to get me the Christmassy mood this evening. It is definitely my most favourite holiday. I’m a very family-orientated person and feel blessed to have been born into such a massive family. Christmas is a great chance for a few of us to meet up and scoff our faces with really fatty foods – I love it! Xmas TV is always so cheesy and The Queens Speech is boring as anything, but beyond all the tackiness of Christmas, as cliché as it is, I love being with my family more than anything.

Christening Weekend

This weekend has started off fantastically! This evening was spent with a handful of family members, and I ate far, far too much. Thats the diet out of the window for today. I’m becoming godparent to the most beautiful baby boy ever tomorrow. I can’t wait to see all of the family again, it’s so hard to keep in contact with each other. The only time we’re ever occasionally all together is weddings, christenings and funerals. It’s taken so much organising and cooking etc but it’ll all be worth it once the family are finally all together. The guest list contains seventy adults and thirty children – it’s going to be an extremely busy day. But I am ridiculously looking forward to it!

Power of Politics

There's No Looking Back

I used to watch the political development of the world. Politics is power and money which rule our life. We can see everywhere the exploitation of weaker ones. It is a great agenda which is functioning around us and it flourish globally too. No one is spared from political activities, every one is a politician and he or she is working to implement his views on others by any means. In our daily life we face so many things and similar way the nations. Turn to the pages of news daily we read the political exploitation or annihilation of some one by others or displacement of weaker sections. Rich men or rich nations need to be cultured to make others live alone. I wish all sections of our society should be more cultured and give chances to others to enjoy their freedom. I agree that there are several means to assist the weaker ones through many international agencies. Our leaders should show more courage to increase the quality of the citizens.

My State in India

I am living in Kochi city which is Kerala State, India. It is a small state in India but with high density. It is a green state with full of palm groves and other greeneries. Kerala state is listed in the tourist map as well. There are several sight seeing places-hill stations, water ways and beaches which attract local and international tourists. Many people of this state are working outside the nation, most of them are well educated and do not find opportunities to work in their home state. The language of this state is Malayalam. This state lies on the south west of India. The capital city of this state is Thiruvananthapuram.
