The Dallas Cowboys are my favorite football team, even though Jerry Jones is just about my least favorite football owner. He interferes with the coaching too much. Wade Phillips is a good coach, but he’s very laid back, so the two of them probably don’t fight too much. Not sure if that’s good or bad, though. The Cowboys have had a long streak of poor performance at the end of the season, but I think they can overcome that if Tony Romo will settle down and concentrate on playing and building the team. He’s got a level head and a good arm, he just needs to concentrate. And the ‘Boys have got a great talent pool this year. Marion Barber is a beast, and Felix Jones is a bolt of lightning. Jason Witten is a good, reliable receiver that Romo can count on. Miles Austin brings some crazy speed to the mix. Defense has been looking good as well. We’ve got some great players and I think Wade is getting them with the program. I don’t miss T.O. and I think it’s going to be a good year.

Why waste Leftovers, do you ever ask yourself that? Like others in America when I get off of work every day, the last thing I want to worry about is what is for dinner? Do you ever ask yourself; wouldn’t it just be easier to go buy fast food? Sometimes leftovers do the trick. I found the taco meat from the night before that I cooked too much of and threw it in the microwave. I added some fresh lettuce and cheese to the bowl of salad that was leftover in the fridge, mixed everything up, threw in some Nacho Cheese Doritos and now you have left over Taco Salad. My kids loved the Taco Salad and it saved me from having to go to the drive thru window, where strangers are touching your food. When you feed your family dinner that was made with love and care, you know that it is fresh and there are quality ingredients than you pick out, and that everything is cooked the way it needs to be. Having left over for dinners also saves money and who know maybe the money you save can go for your next family vacation or trip.

My day is crazy from the minute I wake up. First I have to get up at 5 am to take my husband to work. This also involves taking our three kids along for the ride too. After driving 30 minutes there and back, I then have to get my oldest ready for school. We leave at 7 to take him to school and then it’s breakfast time for my 2 youngest. After breakfast we have morning chores and then free time. They have to eat lunch and take a nap by 2 in order to be up by 3 to get my son from school. Then it’s homework time, pick up husband time, and then dinner. After that, it’s bath time, stories and bed.

My favorite baseball team would have to be the Atlanta Braves. Ever since I was a little girl I can always remember my dad watching them on TV. I think that’s how they ended up being my favorite team also. Chipper Jones has always been my favorite player, I even have an autographed baseball by him. I remember my dad surprising me when I was little with tickets to one of their games in Atlanta. I was so excited. We made the eight hour drive to Atlanta and had great seats at Turner Field. I remember wearing my Chipper Jones jersey and feeling like the luckiest girl alive on the day my dad took me to see my favorite baseball team play in real life. Even to this day, now that I am older I still get together with day every so often for a beer and a good ol’ Atlanta Braves game.
