I love that word – multi-tasking. One of my strengths and I am not shy about saying it, is that I excel in multi-tasking, either at home or at work. In fact many women will own up to the idea that the female gender is the better of the sexes in multi-tasking. It is the ability to do more than one task successfully at the same time or in progression, but nonetheless accomplished almost simultaneously. Take at home for example; the minute I arrived home from work, I go to the kitchen start dinner, while reviewing my son’s homework with and talking to him how his day in school went. While dinner is cooking I check the fridge to start planning for next day’s dinner and what son’s lunch for school next day. At work, doing three projects at the same time, albeit finishing in succession is not a problem. The secret, not quite a secret, is simply, planning and organizing.

The best place to shop, hands down is the Internet. The internet is literally, the world’s greatest mall. You can buy anything and everything for whatever price you choose. If you want a mermaid costume for a toddler for under $20, if you look online long enough, you will find one. Even if you find it for more than you anticipated paying, hundreds of websites have promo codes where you can get discounts, free shipping or even free gifts with purchase! I only shop online because I don’t have to worry about roaming all over town or the mall and not find what I am looking for. I don’t have to settle with Internet, there is always someone willing to make you a deal. In addition, there are local sellers who will meet up with you to haggle or even auction sites to find yourself a good bargain. Shopping online, in my humble opinion, is the best way to go.

Ever since man discovered that dogs could provide service, protection and companionship, we have bonded with them and included them as a family member. Our goal should be to provide as much comfort to our canine friends as we can. Dogs, like humans grow older and develop just as many problems as humans. One of these infirmities happens to be arthritis. When your canine friend can no longer be comfortable resting on its old favorite rug, it may well be time to investigate orthopedic dog beds. After all, if you had trouble sleeping on just any old mattress instead of one designed specifically suitable for someone suffering from arthritis; doesn’t your canine friend deserve the same? They come in various sizes from small to large and will make your dog’s life much easier.

My past week has been rather enjoyable albeit tiring. This was my first week back to college after summer vacation. I am taking Ecology, Cellular Biology, Evolution, General Biology lab, and Cellular Biology lab. I am really enjoying all of my classes. 42 I have not been assigned any homework yet, which I am very glad for because I have been feeling rather lazy this week. Also, in my labs we only met for about half an hour to go over the syllabus instead of having a full three hour lab, which was pleasantly surprising. I have been watching a lot of stuff online, including Dollhouse. It is a very good show and I finished watching the entire first season this week already. I plan on watching the sixth episode of the first season of the Colony, which is an excellent show on the Discovery Channel. As far as outdoor activities go, I went to a beautiful park called Elephant Rocks. There are huge elephant-like boulders all over the place, and most of them are at least one billion years old!
