Tale of a Soccer Mom

I love my kids, but their sports commitments are taking over my life. I can hardly remember what it was like not to be on permanent chauffeur duty. I’m sure there are many moms out there who can relate to this. We are a soccer family, and as such spend much of our week at the field for practices and games. When there are no soccer commitments, it moves on to basketball, volleyball and track. And while the sports commitment is a lot, most mothers will know that the laundry commitment is even worse. While it is a lot of work, I would not trade it for anything. There is nothing more thrilling than watching them score a goal or a basket. Their competitive spirits are a joy to see. They are kept fit and healthy, with all the running they do, and hopefully the sports they do will be lifelong interests for them.

How I Love to Watch Desperate Housewives

I hardly ever watch television, but when it comes to Desperate Housewives, I can’t miss a minute of any episode. The show is really addicting, and keeps you thinking throughout the week, wondering what the next piece of intrigue will be. Desperate Housewives is about several women and their families living in the same neighborhood. As the seasons progress, various difficulties, scandals and events occur with the characters interacting. There is often a big underlying mystery that unfolds as the season progresses, and is revealed in the last episodes of that season. I love Desperate Housewives because it is a story with so many twists and plots woven together with the characters developing and changing over time. Some ideas begin and resolve in one episode. Others in two, three or four episodes and still others take an entire season to play out with a surprising ending. I am always wondering what will happen on the next episode. It is unrealistic to expect the number and type of scandals that appear on this show to occur in real life, but that is exactly what makes this drama exciting and interesting. If the lives and events of the characters were realistic, there would not be near the amount of interest and enjoyment that there is, and yet none of the antics are so far fetched as to be unbelievable. One of the aspects of this show I really enjoy is the comedy. Even though this is a very interesting drama, there is so much to make the viewers laugh. I hardly ever find anything funny in a typical sitcom, and I do not care at all for the canned laughter of a sitcom, but I love the hilarious situations and lines embedded in Desperate Housewives. I get to laugh without someone else telling me what is funny. Often the comedy is subtle, making it all the better and other times it is outright blatant, such as the time Gabrielle pushed a portable potty across a yard in a dress and high heels. I do hope Desperate Housewives continues for many more seasons. Although it is difficult for me to set its Sunday night time aside, I always do, and I am always completely rewarded. Then, I can’t wait until next Sunday to find out what will happen then.

My today’s appareling

Today I am wearing a blue color slim fit full sleeves shirt there are black color strips over there, the fabric is so comfortable that I love too wear that for hours, with that blue color shirt I am matched a sky blue color “narrow bottom” jeans and put a funky belt, it is light in color and looks very stylish with the clothing. To give my look funkier, I had putted a denim waist coat over the shirt and also canvas shoes which is in combination of black and white color. Also I didn’t to forget to wear Goggle, watch and bracelet to enhance my dressing sense. The goggle which I prefer today is of black shade and looks awesome on my face and the watch I prefer is having a sporty look, not a formal it is black in color will silver dial and digital one. The bracelet I had chosen is of silver metal one, having some stylish jewelry design over that.

Life with Horses

Horseback riding has been my hobby since I was a little kid. I started riding at a nearby stable when I was seven years old. I took lessons with a woman names Martha for a few years and learned a lot of the basics. When I was a little older, I started riding with a more advanced trainer, Chris, who I still train with today, With Chris’s help, I began eventing. There are three different main events in eventing- dressage, cross country, and show jumping. Dressage is like ballet on horseback. The horse and rider team performs a predetermined pattern and are judged on the balance and beauty with which it is executed. Cross Country involves jumping a series of obstacles laid out in a course across fields and woods. Show Jumping involves jumping in the show ring and is scored based on time and knock-downs of obstacles. This hobby takes a lot of time. I take a lesson with my trainer every week. I ride my competition horse five additional days per week. I am also working a few horses for other people right now. If I’m not at work, I’m at the barn, but I love every minute of it.
