Ghost Hunters is a paranormal investigation show on Sci-Fi on Wednesday nights at 9:00 PM. Ghost Hunters follows TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) as they investigate different locations searching for scientific evidence of ghosts. The show has investigated a wide range of locations including private residences, lighthouses, abandoned train stations, and old forts. TAPS uses many scientific instruments to gather evidence. Their primary tool is a set of infrared cameras hooked up to a DVR system to see in the darkness. They also use digital recorders to try and record EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomenon’s) which are voices and sounds that imprint on the devices but are not heard by the human ear. Also, the use thermal imaging cameras that pick up heat signatures and cold spots. Finally, they use their own senses and hopefully have personal experiences. TAPS also tries to debunk paranormal claims by their clients because sometimes what people believe is something paranormal is not. For example, a client said they heard footsteps in their living room. During the investigation, TAPS discovered that the house’s heater, which is directly below the living room, had a loose pipe that shook when the heater turned on and it sounded like footsteps in the living room. Ghost Hunters is a great show if you are a believer in the paranormal or if you just like things that are spooky.

My wife had wanted to get a Maltese her entire life. So 2 years ago I got her one for her birthday. I have always been reluctant to have small dogs, because of their “yippee” reputation. I was proven right. Baxter Alexander Maximus was an eight week old puppy when we got him, and he fit in the palm of my hand. The minute we got him home and he saw our cats the yipping began. He is now a little over two years old, and he still barks constantly. He barks while he is going potty, while he is cleaning himself, even when he is sleeping he’ll bark. It drives me nuts. He likes to wear dog cologne too. However in the past six months he has finally gotten the idea of going potty outside instead of in the house. He has been listening, in general, much better, and he has taken to curling up in my lap and going to sleep whenever my wife isn’t around. He also seems to have trouble deciding which of us to sleep next to at night, so he wedges in between us. All in all my heart has gone out to the cute, annoying, little yipper.

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s August and it is HOT out here. I am a stay-at-home mom so I don’t have to dress up to go anywhere. My everyday dress is casual. Today I am not wearing anything special. I have a black shirt on that has some kind of paisley design on the front of it and wearing boot cut jeans. But my jeans are not that think jean material. The material is thinner than your normal jean material and really comfortable to wear. As for shoes, well living in Las Vegas, you have own a lot of flip-flops. So of course I have a pair of black Speedo flip-flops which are very comfortable. Other than that, that’s about all I wear out here from day to day. A shirt, jeans and flip-flops, even during the winter. I do own a couple of Capri jeans that I wear occasionally, but my boot cut jeans are just fine.

As I am a home maker I have enough leisure hours. My hobbies are chatting with my friends online, reading books and watching TV. I enjoy a lot chatting with neighbors too. Whenever I have any interesting thing to share the first thing that I would do is knock the next door. I personally feel one should always have a good relationship with neighbors and that is one of my goals and hobby too. I would love to watch dance and reality shows. I hate watching serials and movies. To me, most of the time TV is an idiot box. So this is one of the least preferable hobbies of mine. Reading books is the best time pass. In fact good books are good friends. I can sit hours together at one place and read one complete book without any hassle. I am a member of local library at my native place. So will keep exchanging the books once I finish reading.
